July & we still have wildflowers. It's been rainy and wet without too much heat. I'm actually liking it because I can get more hiking in. Here with my collected wildflowers, I have some nature-inspired art the little one is just a mixed media Icad, & the other is a watercolor portrait that is still in progress. I drew the face months and months ago, well, maybe 6 months. I pulled out the pad of mixed media paper and it was in there, so I finished the sketch and added all the jewelry and nature details. While painting it, a thought came to me, she reminds me of Artemis, goddess of the wild things, sister to Apollo the sun god. Whom I am fond of. I'm hoping I have done Artemis a kindness and that she would be happy with the finished piece, which I will post as soon as it is done. My point today is to challenge everyone to go outside, spend some time in nature, go somewhere deep in the forest where you might not see another person. Sit & meditate, enjoy the beauty that is mother earth. For too many of us are so busy with mundane things we forget to go outside. For me nature is healing, It always makes me feel better. I don't think you would regret it. Go outside, go discover, adventure awaits! Do it now before the snow flies. Find peace in the wilderness.

Random thoughts that appear in my head:
If someone has anything to say about your body. Tell them, "You know what, I do not care what your fucked up standards are. I love my body. It is my body. It has brought me this far in life, & I love it. Nobody said you had to like it." Also be sure to ask them, "What matters more to you, Society's fucked up expectations of humans, What your temporary body looks like to you, or perhaps does your soul, and what is inside you matter more? For me I see people go through life absorbed by popularity, money, & material things. Sure those things are nice, but when you get too absorbed in it sometimes you forget who you are, who your "soul self" is. I challenge everyone to feed your soul self. Take care of you, do things that make you happy, take time to learn to love yourself, & your body, & enjoy this life that you have. Live it how you want to. Because once you do you'll start aligning with what is best for you. You will stop allowing what is not for your highest good. You will not accept less than what you believe you deserve, & you will shed all that doesn't serve your soul.
You are a beautiful being of light, let it shine, be the beautiful gem that you are. I wish you all well on your journey. I hope you feel will the light inside of you.
Hello Everyone, My name is Jen. I am an artist, crafter, & jewelry maker. I love making things, but this blog is more about my young at heart bohemian soul. I am a nature loving, goddess worshiping, witch. Yes, that's right, witch. I am a spiritual person, I believe in love and light. I feel it part of my journey to be a person that is uplifting and enlightening to others. To teach others to love themselves as they are. Because sometimes, parents, people we love, have a way of making us feel crappy about ourselves later in life. I say screw their expectations, & be yourself. Yes, that takes bravery, because the minute you start becoming your genuine self, people may not want to be around you anymore. Don't for a second beg them to come back, because they were not truly your people. Your "Soul Tribe" When you become yourself it allows others that are like you to enter your life. So I say sluff off the dead cells, remove the negativity from your life. I know change is hard, but some things have to reach an end to allow room for better things to come forth in your life. Allow your self this awesome feeling of knowing who you are, and loving your self completely. I wish you light & love on your path. Blessed be.
